Mystique can’t stand her own appearance despite what others think of her. She avoids looking at herself in the mirror.

She loves her children, she just doesn’t know how. Her love is heavily flawed, and she sabotages their happiness so humans won’t have to first.

She is an unstable woman. She likes her freedom, but treats her lovers as disposable. Deep down, she wants love, and can’t handle confronting her flaws. Her confidence hides her insecurities.

She’s attracted to “bad” men & women. The types that are just as flawed. She’ll settle for who she thinks she deserves, and feels inclined to leave the second it gets more serious.

She’s no cook, but is a sophisticated baker. She’ll make sweets you’d see in food magazines and think nothing special of it.

She’s protective of children, but refuses to show it.

She does not like humans. She’s pro mutant, even if it means sacrificing humankind for progress. If her children date a human, she’ll make her distaste known.

She left home at a young age because her parents tried to kill her. Ever since then, she’s just been trying to survive.
